A major NHS trust in England is seeking an experienced Radiographer at Band 7 level or above to support the management team while retaining an active clinical role in pre-treatment. Responsibilities include ensuring high standards of service, managing brachytherapy, and training junior staff. The Northamptonshire Centre for Oncology would like to hear from Radiographers with experience at Band 7 level or above in pre-treatment who are looking to take on additional management responsibilities while retaining an active clinical role.
The successful candidate will support the department as part of the management team to ensure a safe and effective service is maintained across the department with primary responsibility for pre-treatment alongside management oversight for brachytherapy.
Our equipment comprises a Siemens Somatom CT, Varian Brachytherapy unit and 3 Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators. We are undergoing an equipment replacement programme with the first replacement linear accelerator, a Varian TrueBeam Hypersight with Brainlab SGRT currently being installed.
The department provides a supportive environment to actively encourage staff in their CPD activities and role development.
