Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin (RGN or RMN).
  • Proven experience in a Nursing Home or long-term care environment.
  • Previous managerial or leadership experience in a care home setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and care planning skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, dementia care, and CQC compliance.
  • Compassionate patient-centred approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Deputy Nurse Manager Nursing Home

Salary: 53000

Hours: 40 per week (Supernumerary)

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join our clients Nursing Home where residents are at the heart of everything we do. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse leader to support the Home Manager in delivering outstanding person-centred care and overseeing the clinical services of a well-established home.

As Deputy Nurse Manager you’ll play an important role in ensuring residents receive safe dignified and high-quality nursing care. Working closely with the Home Manager and a multidisciplinary team you will lead mentor and inspire staff while ensuring full compliance with CQC standards and best practice guidelines.

  • Promote safeguarding dignity and safety at all times.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents families and external professionals.
  • Assist with staff rotas ensuring safe staffing levels and supporting work-life balance.
  • Drive quality improvement staff training and professional development initiatives.
