We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN) to support the running of a well-established nursing home. Working closely with the Home Manager, you'll ensure high standards of care, compliance, and resident satisfaction while leading a committed team of staff.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with leadership experience to step into a senior role and make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strong clinical leadership to care and nursing teams.
  • Support the Home Manager with compliance, governance, and inspection standards.
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes.
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and person-centred environment.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop staff to reach their full potential.
  • Take responsibility for the home in the Manager's absence.
  • Participate in the on-call rota alongside the Home Manager.
What We're Looking For
  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a care home setting.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for elderly care and a commitment to excellence.
Working Hours

40 hours per week (typically 12-hour shifts).

Some weekend and on-call responsibilities.
