Job summary

A leading childcare services provider is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager in Residential Childcare to join their supportive team in the Erewash River Area. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care, lead shifts, and supervise Residential Support Workers. Applicants should have a Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare, at least 3 years of experience in this field, and 2 years in a supervisory role. A full UK driving licence is required. Competitive salary of £36,000 annually is offered, along with generous benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead shifts and provide high-quality care for children and young people.
  • Act as Key Worker for assigned children, supporting care plans and casework.
  • Promote Trauma-Informed Care and PACE principles in your approach.
  • Supervise and mentor Residential Support Workers.
  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are followed.
  • Support children''s development, education, and well-being.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in Residential Childcare (minimum 3 years).
  • Supervisory experience (minimum 2 years).
  • Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
