Overview

Deputy Manager

Service: Belmont

Location: Stanford North, Hythe

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. You will be required to work weekends and long days.

Salary: £15.71 per hour

Note: This is not a solely office-based role and you will be required to support the service users.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the assessments of individual service users and, from these, draw up their service plans in conjunction with other significant people.
  • Review, reassess and update service plans to ensure they remain aligned with individual needs.
  • Allocate the implementation and recording of service plans to staff members with appropriate skills or training.
  • Offer individual support when necessary and assess specialist support needs for the person.
  • Enable the service user to express their views and ensure these views are considered when setting service plan objectives and service provision.
  • Develop training opportunities for service users to acquire new skills.
  • Communicate information to all service users about their contracts, quality measurements, and how to access the complaints procedure.
  • Maintain a high standard of professional care for all service users at all times.
  • Foster positive contact between the centre and families/carers and encourage their active participation in plans.
  • Provide staffing and leadership as required.
