A leading care provider in Tees Valley seeks a compassionate Deputy Home Manager to ensure high standards of clinical care. This role involves supervising nursing staff and providing resident care when the Home Manager is absent. An active NMC Pin and relevant nursing experience are essential. As a Deputy Home Manager you will ensure the level of clinical care offered goes beyond professional standards and statutory, regulatory and legal requirements. You will provide specialist nursing support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence and supervise/coach colleagues to provide a service that is unparalleled in its empathy for resident issues.
HC-One is looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a valid PIN, knowledge of National Standards and the NMC code of practice. You should have a background in person-centred care planning within a care home. You will be a great mentor who can manage time effectively and keep meaningful records. When you communicate with a resident or co-worker, you will be truly considerate and kind. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
