Deputy Home Manager (Non-Clinical)
Location: Bath
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 50/50 supernumerary and floor-based shifts
Additional: Alternate weekend working and/or on-call cover

Are you an experienced and compassionate care professional looking to take the next step in your career? We’re seeking a dedicated Deputy Home Manager to support the running of a lovely 40-bed residential care home in Bath with a salary up to £40,000 per year.

About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you’ll work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service — maintaining high standards of care, compliance and resident satisfaction. The role offers a balance of leadership and hands‑on involvement, with approximately half your time supernumerary and half working alongside the care team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Home Manager in all aspects of home management and compliance
  • Leading, mentoring and developing the care team
  • Ensuring care plans are up to date and residents’ needs are met with dignity and respect
  • Promoting a positive culture that reflects the values of the home
  • Taking part in the on‑call rota and weekend cover as required
About You

You’ll be an experienced senior care professional, ideally with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and a strong understanding of CQC standards. You’ll combine excellent leadership skills with a hands‑on, caring approach and a genuine passion for making a difference to residents’ lives.
