Overview

Reporting to the Data Protection Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with UK GDPR and supporting data protection across our Central Services, parishes, and agencies.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, who is passionate about privacy governance and eager to contribute to the mission and values of the Catholic Church.

What We're Looking For
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support and advise stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
  • A collaborative approach, with proven teamwork experience and the ability to work independently when required.
  • Problem-solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility in responding to new priorities and challenges.
  • Relevant experience in UK data privacy compliance and a strong understanding of data protection principles.
  • A data protection or privacy certification (e.g., CIPP, CIPT, CIPM, ISEB) is required, or a willingness to achieve this.
  • Experience in a faith-based, charitable, or non-profit environment is desirable but not essential.
