Responsibilities
  • Organise, manage, and support the wraparound care team to deliver high-quality after-school provision.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities - from crafts, football, lego and discos.
  • Be vigilant in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times.
  • Build warm, professional relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Maintain accurate administrative records, including registers, reports, and incident logs.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.
What We’re Looking For
  • A confident leader with experience working with children in a childcare, playwork, or school setting. You must have a Level 3 or higher Childcare qualification.
  • A calm and positive individual with strong organisational skills.
  • A caring, creative approach to supporting children’s development and well being.
  • A firm commitment to safeguarding, health & safety, and child protection.
  • A team player who communicates clearly and professionally with parents and colleagues.
Essential Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of safeguarding and first aid (training can be provided).
  • Understanding of child development and the needs of primary-age pupils.
  • A desire to contribute to a joyful, safe space for children at the end of their day.
