Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Department Manager to head up the team on our Menswear Department, which is located within Boundary Outlet - Grantham. The role is available with an immediate start and will be responsible for the smooth running of the department. The team consists of 3: Manager + 2 x part time sales assistant.

The position requires someone with a clear focus on the customer and driving sales whilst delivering the highest standards of service in all areas, from the minute the customer walks on to our department, to the minute they leave us. To succeed you must have previous retail experience at a supervisory level (preferably within fashion), excellent people skills and experience, bags of energy and enthusiasm, be self-motivated, and have a genuine interest in people and fashion. Most importantly, you must be capable of working on your own and being able to use your initiative. Flexibility is essential to the role as you will be required to work additional days/hours to provide cover for holidays and sickness. The role does require lone working; however, training will be provided. Experience required

  • Previous Supervisor/Managerial experience, within a fashion/sales environment.
  • Retail and Merchandising experience
  • Staff scheduling
  • Must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail
