Job summary

A leading dental training firm is seeking a Dental Tutor Assessor to conduct remote assessments and support dental professionals achieving their qualifications. The ideal candidate will have a minimum Level 3 Assessor Qualification and active GDC registration. Responsibilities include managing assessments and providing feedback to learners. Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Assessor Qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1, V1, D32 / D33).
• Active GDC (General Dental Council) Registration required.
• Minimum Level 3 Training Qualification (AET, PTTLS or equivalent advantageous).
• Qualified Dental Nurse status is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular online and workplace assessments for learners.
• Ensure completion of all assessment paperwork.
• Provide timely feedback to learners.
• Manage diary for maximum assessment opportunities.
• Conduct learner progress reviews.
• Support learners for their dental tests.
• Promote compliance with equal opportunities and safety standards.

Position : Dental Tutor Assessor

Location : Remote with occasional travel required to conduct learner observations

Salary : Up to £30,000 plus our going for gold bonus of up to £4000

As a Tutor / Assessor you will...

• Carry out regular online and workplace assessments for Apprenticeship or standalone Diploma learners.
• Ensure the correct completion of all assessment paperwork
• Provide quality feedback to learners in a timely manner
• Manage your own diary to ensure maximum assessment opportunity
• Carry our learner progress reviews with learners and their employer
• Support and prepare learners for their dental tests
• To promote and comply with all current and future equal opportunities, health and safety and safeguarding legislative requirements

What qualification we need from you...

• Minimum Level 3 Assessor Qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1, V1, D32 / D33)

• Experience in teaching / delivering national diploma or advanced apprenticeships
• Experienced Dental Nurse
• Ability to plan work effectively and meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively both in person and remotely with learners, clients and employers
• Ability to work independently and part of a wider remote based team
• IT literate - with effective use of MS Office
• Flexible approach and ability to work remote and travel when required to meet the needs of the learner and business
