Role Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain this role supports Culligan UK’s ability to source and supply product in a timely and organised manner. You will own the stock availability number and setting out KPI’s for our suppliers to achieve high OTIF performance.
You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the business with your team to ensure the right stock is available at the right time.
Responsibilities
- Support the supply chain leadership team
- Own the purchase order process with suppliers
- Manage supplier performance against agreed SLA’s/KPI’s
- Expedite or defer orders as required based on schedule/inventory changes
- Set-up and own material master planning parameters (MOQ’s, lead times, safety stocks)
- Manage and resolve issues regarding PO to invoice discrepancies, returns and quality problems with suppliers
- Collaborate with internal customers and provide a high level of customer service, including recommending solutions, resources, and alternative supply options
- Monitor status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of all goods, including timely resolution, communication and mitigation of future potential issues or areas of concern
- Co-ordinate material flows throughout product/BOM changes, obsolescence, and the introduction of new suppliers and/or materials due to new product development
- Advanced proficiency with software systems – including IFS systems and Microsoft Excel
- Experience of managing suppliers and their performance
- Analytical with strong communication skills at all levels and a confident team player
- Excellent problem solving and organisational skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and remain calm under pressure
- Experience using forecasting tools and the ability to interpret data to improve performance within the demand and supply function
- Ability to manage and motivate a team, provide guidance and encourage an environment where all have a voice
- Able to influence and negotiate persuasively at peers and senior level internally and externally
