Job description
What You'll Be Doing
Leading the Delivery Team
  • Oversee daily delivery operations and ensure smooth functioning.
  • Plan deliveries and ensure accurate, safe loading.
  • Conduct plant / vehicle checks and manage outbound deliveries.
Driving Commercial Success
  • Implement the store's sales plan and make sound commercial decisions.
  • Maximize delivery service profitability and promote monthly offers.
  • Handle customer inquiries and upsell Selco services.
Empowering and Developing the Team
  • Set direction and assign tasks, monitoring results.
  • Conduct training, briefings, and inductions for direct reports and drivers.
  • Foster a high-support, high-challenge environment and empower colleagues.
Operational Leadership & On-Duty Responsibility
  • Act as the senior leader, managing store operations and resolving issues.
  • Ensure clear communication and handovers between shifts.
  • Serve as a key holder, responsible for opening / closing and security.
Service & Store Culture
  • Inspire and lead by example, setting the standard for customer service.
  • Promote teamwork and recognize colleagues who embody core values.
