Job description

We are looking for a Delivery Driver on a 3-month fixed-term role based out of our Edinburgh Branch, working part-time hours Monday to Friday, 16:00 - 20:30.

As a Delivery Driver, you will be a key member of the team, providing excellent service to customers and branches by completing on-time deliveries and maintaining polite & professional face-to-face customer interactions.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Delivering excellent customer service by representing the Rexel brand with a positive, friendly, and professional image
• Transporting customer orders to required addresses in a timely and professional manner
• Contacting customers to provide delivery updates, confirm times, and discuss any additional requirements
• Ensuring legal compliance regarding vehicle upkeep and maintenance

What we are looking for:

• DRIVING: Held a valid UK driver’s license for 12+ months, with no more than 3 points, and over the age of 21 (for insurance purposes)
• EXPERIENCE: Proven multi-drop delivery and basic warehouse experience
• COMMUNICATION: Great conversational skills to enhance customer service and team engagement
• ADAPTABILITY: Ability to adapt your day when needed to support business needs
