Delish Deli Manager

Starting at £14.13 per hour & Benefits. Full‑time permanent, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, 6:00am–5:00pm. Full flexibility within these hours required.

About the role

Delish delis are a convenient place for customers to stop for breakfast, lunch or coffee on the go. We seek a candidate to lead our friendly team, ensuring delicious food, first‑class service, hygiene and career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide first‑class service to all customers.
  • Allocate work duties to team members to ensure coverage and high‑quality service.
  • Exercise constant health & safety, security and due diligence oversight.
  • Carry out food safety control checks in all areas.
  • Ensure stock is accurately displayed, properly priced and waste recorded.
  • Prepare and cook food in line with company procedure and health & safety regulations.
  • Maintain high standard of cleanliness in the front and back of the deli.
  • Enforce all legislative demands/standards of fire, health, hygiene and safety.
  • Undertake other duties as required.
Skills for Success
  • Passion for food with proven track record for delivering fantastic customer experience. Minimum 1 year experience in a served food role.
  • Minimum 6 months experience leading a team.
  • Positive attitude and love for people, inspiring and motivating team.
  • Creative flair and eye for detail, ensuring excellent presentation and standards.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices. Minimum Level 2 qualification in Food Safety.
  • Commercial awareness, ability to deliver on KPIs such as sales, costs, profitability.
