Overview

Sirona Medical are looking to recruit a Decontamination Technician for an ongoing contract in Scotland. The successful Decontamination Technician will be responsible for the cleaning and sterilising of the Endoscopy equipment and provide a high standard of professionalism as part of the clinical team within our Endoscopy Department in Kent.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sterilise Endoscopy equipment.
• Assemble and disassemble Endoscopy equipment as required.
• Deliver all aspects of Decontamination to a high standard and within deadlines.
• Comply with Health & Safety, hygiene, and delivery of instruments to point of use, etc.
• Maintain a clean and disinfected working environment.
• Liaise with internal customers to ensure all service requirements are met.
• Maintain stock levels in line with department requirements.
• Dispose of decontaminated waste in accordance with statutory and PGH's policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with statutory and PGH's policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in Wassenburg essential.
