A prominent healthcare institution in Greater London is seeking a Decontamination Supervisor to join their in-house Endoscope Reprocessing team. This role involves leading a team to ensure scopes are processed to the highest standards while managing workflow. You will oversee testing regimes and ensure compliance with regulations. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our in‑house Endoscope Reprocessing team as a Decontamination Supervisor. Leading a shift of four, you will ensure all scopes are processed to the highest standards, managing and prioritising workflow to enable our service users to meet the demand of patient activity.
You will be experienced and qualified to undertake and oversee a testing regime, compliant with current regulations, ensuring safety and compliance in this hands‑on operational supervisory post.
We have ERUs (Endoscope Reprocessing Units) at St Mary’s Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital, with standard shift patterns being four ten‑hour days Monday to Friday, 0800‑1800 and 1000‑2000. All staff are expected to rotate between sites. Opportunities to work weekends as bank shifts are regularly available.
