An exciting opportunity has arisen to join York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals Facilities Management (YTHFM) team, based at Scarborough Hospital in the Facilities department as a Decontamination (HPV/UV-C) Technician.
The role of the Decontamination Operative provides a vital service that contributes to the Trust overall Infection Prevention and Control Strategy.
Successful candidates will have a flexible approach to work and work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, eagerness, and ability to learn.
The role is physically demanding, involving lifting and handling decontamination equipment and long periods of standing. Equipment must be transported around the Trust sites.
