Job Title: Deburr Operator

Salary: £15.24phr

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are working with a client who provides advanced high‑precision manufacturing services from centre of excellence in the UK. They are seeking a Deburr Operator to join their team at their Glasgow facility.

As a Deburr Operator, you will be responsible for finishing and preparing precision components by removing sharp edges, burrs, and imperfections to meet strict quality standards. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform deburring, edge‑breaking, and surface finishing on precision components using hand tools and machinery
  • Inspect components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed
  • Clean and maintain work areas and equipment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues
What We're Looking For:
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work to high standards and follow technical instructions
  • Good time management and proactive approach
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or engineering is beneficial but not essential
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
What's in it for you?

  • Once fully trained, you may move onto a shift rotation with a shift allowance applied at the relevant rate
