Job summary

A leading engineering staffing provider in Cambridgeshire seeks a Test and Inspection Engineer for a 12-month project, offering a rate of £29.00 - £34.00 p/h PAYE. The candidate will inspect and report on DCS cabinets and support the engineering team during Factory Acceptance Tests. Essential qualifications include an ONC/HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering. The role requires current UK residency and offers opportunities for skill enhancement in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced in inspecting electrical equipment related to engineering drawings, preferably DCS cabinets.
• Proficient in maintaining spreadsheets.
• Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Undertake inspection of DCS and Network/Server Cabinets to engineering drawings.
• Produce inspection reports for quality control.
• Support the Project Engineering team during Factory Acceptance Tests.
