Machine Operatives - Food Production (Permanent Day Shifts)

Pay Rate: £13.96 per hour

Hours: 12-hour shifts, on a 4-on, 4-off rota

Overtime: Potential for overtime at enhanced rates

The Best Connection is looking for experienced Machine Operatives to join one of our well-established clients in the Hortonwood area.

Role Overview:

We are seeking candidates who are reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work a 12-hour shift rota. The role offers the potential for overtime at enhanced rates.

Requirements:

• Good understanding of English, both reading and writing.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Experience performing machine operator and machine setter duties within a food manufacturing environment, including:
  • Packing, quality inspection, palletising, labeling, and completing relevant documentation
  • Product changeovers and cleaning
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rota (including weeknds)

Next Steps:

• Site tour and aptitude test will take place during the week commencing 05/01/2025. Candidates will complete the aptitude test on the same day as the site tour.
