Job summary

An established manufacturer in Knaresborough is seeking a Welder Fabricator for a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have strong TIG welding skills, with experience in mild and stainless steel. You will be responsible for producing high-quality assemblies and interpreting engineering drawings. The position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday with opportunities for further training.

Qualifications

• Strong TIG welding skills with some knowledge of MIG.
• Experience of welding mild and stainless steel in an engineering environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret & work to engineering drawings to produce high quality assemblies using TIG & MIG welding.
• Work with sheet, bar and tube, 1mm-5mm thick stainless steel and mild steel.
• Work to a high-quality standard.
