Day Services Admin Assistant Temporary Role, 22.5 hrs/week (approx. 3 days per week)

Location: South Yorkshire (Ofsted rated further education college)

Pay Rate: Competitive (PAYE)

About the Role

We are working with an Ofsted rated further education college in South Yorkshire which is looking to recruit a Day Services Administrator on a temporary basis. The role supports learners with additional needs and liaises closely with staff, learners, families, and external employers.

As part of the day services team, you will:

  • Maintain accurate learner audit records and profiles
  • Prepare reports and update the college’s learner database
  • Schedule and book lifelong learning assessments in line with manager availability
  • Act as a point of contact for learners and their families
  • Liaise with employers regarding work placements and monitor learners while on placement
  • Conduct welfare checks and provide basic pastoral/admin support

Hours: 22.5 hours per week 08 30

Own transport is essential

Who We are Looking For

Required:

  • A qualification in health & social care or administration, or equivalent experience
  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Experience working in a care, SEND, or educational setting
  • Strong organisational skills, including record keeping and reporting
  • A caring, respectful, and professional manner with strong interpersonal skills

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting learners with disabilities, challenging behaviours, or additional needs
  • Knowledge of audit processes and experience with learner management systems
  • Familiarity with lifelong learning assessments or progress tracking tools
  • Previous liaison with external employers or families regarding learner progress
