Are you passionate about delivering operational excellence in mission‑critical environments? Do you bring high standards, a methodical approach and a drive for continuous improvement?

We are looking for a Head of Operations to ensure Clients benefit from a consistently exceptional and reliable infrastructure experience across a national data centre estate. You’ll champion standards, optimise processes, strengthen compliance, and help shape a culture of excellence and sustainability.

What you’ll be doing
  • Lead the development and delivery of standard operating procedures across our data centres
  • Drive consistency, quality, and continuous improvement in operational performance
  • Ensure full compliance and provide clear reporting for internal & external audits
  • Train and support operational teams, ensuring procedures are understood and adopted
  • Maintain & publish a live library of operational procedures and improvement updates
  • Own data centre operational risks—embedding enhancements into processes
  • Keep ahead of industry best practice and evolving compliance standards
About you

You bring a blend of leadership, process excellence, and operational discipline, with the ability to influence across teams and ensure high‑quality, repeatable delivery.

Essential:

  • Proven leadership in operational standards & continuous improvements
  • Experience in data centre operations or critical infrastructure environments
  • Qualifications in engineering, IT, Ops or process improvement
  • Strong understanding of compliance & regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication, documentation & stakeholder influence skills
  • High attention to detail, structured & methodical mindset
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Experience writing and embedding operational procedures
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, including ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO14001, ISO50001
