Job summary

A recruitment consultancy is seeking an experienced Data Architect for a central government data migration program. The role requires strong MariaDB expertise and solid AWS experience, focusing on migrating Legacy SQL-based data into an AWS environment. Responsibilities include defining data architecture, overseeing migration efforts, and ensuring data integrity and security. An active SC clearance is essential. This is a hybrid role based in London with a competitive daily rate of c£550 outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Architect in central government.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions using MariaDB.
• Experience migrating data from Legacy SQL systems into MariaDB.
• Solid AWS experience, particularly S3.
• Strong understanding of data governance and security in regulated environments.
