We are looking for a talented and proactive Data Analyst (Insight and Analysis) to join our Planning and Performance Department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide analysis and reporting on key business data, performance trends, and KPIs across the University.
  • Support senior leaders, including the Dean of Students, Dean of Academic Performance, and Directors of School Operations, through insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Develop data visualisations, dashboards, and performance monitoring tools that inform strategic decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Contribute to projects involving learning analytics, academic performance, student outcomes, and external reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure high-quality, consistent data interpretation and use.
Qualifications
  • Holds a degree (preferably in a numerate subject).
  • Has strong analytical and data visualisation skills, with experience using Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Communicates complex data clearly and confidently to a range of audiences.
  • Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience of extracting and transforming data with SQL.
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of the Higher Education sector and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Experience with the R programming language and/or the SITS student record system.
  • A collaborative approach to cross-departmental working and problem-solving.
