A global food service company in Ashford is seeking a Data Analyst to support data quality and standardization initiatives. This full-time position offers flexible hybrid working. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years' experience in data analysis, strong SQL skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Responsibilities include data cleansing, collaboration with stakeholders, and supporting global projects. This role requires a commitment to accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
We are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst to join the team in Ashford, Kent, on a Full Time Permanent basis.
In this role you will work with Europe Sites and Business Technology teams to gather, analyse, cleanse, and standardise Master Data to support global initiatives. You will play a key part in improving the quality of Sysco data and driving global harmonisation across markets. Your work will enable current and future business transformation projects, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
This role is offering flexible hybrid working with 1–2 days based in our Kent office for team collaboration and meetings, so you must be within a commutable distance.
You bring 3–5 years’ experience in a complex data or analytical role, ideally within a food, foodservice, or retail environment. You have strong SQL skills, experience working with databases, and the ability to extract and analyse data from various sources, with multi‑country exposure considered an asset. You hold a college diploma or degree in Information Systems or Data Analytics, with a bachelor’s degree advantageous. You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and confident using Power Tools such as Power Query and Power Automate. Programming knowledge in Python and fluency in French and/or Swedish are beneficial.
You are analytical, logical, and detail‑oriented, with the ability to quickly understand complex data themes and processes. Strong organisation and time management skills enable you to thrive in a busy environment, while your ability to prioritise ensures deadlines are met. You are a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, a commitment to accuracy, and a drive for continuous improvement. Adaptable, results‑focused, and motivated by operational excellence, you contribute positively to a supportive and high‑performing team culture.
