Data Acquisition & Supplier Manager

Location: Norwich

Salary: Excellent

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm)

Galaxy Personnel is partnering with an exciting growing company that is looking for an experienced Data Acquisition & Supplier Manager to join their team in the Norwich location.

They are looking for a sharp, organised, commercially minded Data Acquisition & Supplier Manager to take charge of sourcing, testing, buying, and managing all UK consumer marketing.

If you know how to negotiate, spot high-quality data, keep suppliers in line, and ensure the business never runs dry of leads, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and contacting UK & international data suppliers (UK data only).
  • Running data trials and comparing quality, conversion, and complaint levels.
  • Negotiating pricing, buying in bulk, and securing the best possible deals.
  • Managing supplier accounts, balances, and ongoing relationships.
  • Tracking performance (contact rate, appointments, sales, CPS, complaints).
  • Producing simple weekly reports so we know which suppliers to scale or drop.
  • Ensuring every batch of data is clean, compliant, safe, and ready to work.
  • Making sure the call centre always has fresh, high-performing data.
Criteria
  • Experience in data buying, lead generation, or supplier management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of GDPR/PECR in a marketing context (or willingness to learn quickly).
  • Organised, reliable, and confident managing multiple suppliers at once.
  • Strong Excel/Sheets skills.
