Daily Supply Teacher

Looking for more flexibility and the chance to cover a range of subjects and year groups? Tradewind Recruitment is actively recruiting for a dedicated daily supply teacher in the Thanet area to work in a range of secondary school settings. The role is flexible, suitable for full‑time or part‑time hours, and offers a daily rate of £135 PAYE.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
  • Manage behaviour to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Be proactive and engaging students in their work.
  • Adapt quickly to different situations and schools depending on the needs of the day.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or previous experience of working with secondary school students.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to encouraging student success.
  • Adaptability and resilience to thrive in various classroom environments.
  • Confident in managing classroom behaviour in line with the school behaviour policy.
  • Available between 8:15 am and 3:30 pm on the days you are available for work.
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
  • Right to work in the UK.
