A leading Lloyds Broker is seeking a Delegated Authority Claims Team Leader. Job Title: Delegated Authority Claims Team Leader

Salary: 55000

Location: London / Remote max 1 day a week in Office

PURPOSE OF ROLE

An excellent opportunity to join a leading Lloyds Broker as a Team Leader for the Delegated Authority Claims team. Youll be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the DA Claims team ensuring operational efficiency regulatory compliance and first-class service delivery to coverholders. This role offers a blend of leadership technical oversight and process improvement within a dynamic and growing business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the DA Claims team including appraisals development and performance management.
  • Ensure high professional standards and continual improvement in service delivery.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of bordereaux.
  • Maintain and update financial and claims records.
  • Produce claims and earned-to-incurred statistics working with other teams as required.
  • Manage and authorise claims payments and liaison with Accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients TPAs insurers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and FCA regulations including Consumer Duty and CASS.
  • Monitor workloads service levels and SLAs across the team to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support training system testing and implementation of new enhancements.
  • Handle escalations and ensure effective issue resolution.
DAY-TO-DAY
  • Leading a team of Claims Technicians within the Delegated Authority Claims function.
  • Reviewing claims activity financial accuracy and performance metrics.
  • Producing daily weekly and monthly KPI reports.
  • Managing workflow allocation and ensuring adherence to SLAs.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to team members.
SKILLS
  • Previous experience in a similar Delegated Authority claims role within the London Market.
  • Strong understanding of DA contracts and processes.
  • Knowledge of CLASS ECF IMR and other London Market systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
