Job summary

A global consultancy seeks a D365 CE Functional Consultant for an onsite role in London on an initial 6-month contract, with the option for extension. The successful candidate will lead functional design and configuration tasks for customer insights marketing. Must have 5–8 years experience with Dynamics 365, strong analytical, communication, and template-building skills. This role offers £200 – 215 per day.

D365 CE Functional Consultant

Onsite in London

Our client a global consultancy is looking for a D365 Functional Consultant on an initial 6 month contract with the option of extension thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional design and configuration for CIJ (customer insight journey) real-time marketing
• Configure real-time events, event triggers, and event-based conditions
• Build real-time segments (behavioural, event-driven, attribute segments)
• Design customer journeys with branching logic (conditions, A/B splits, wait conditions, exit rules)
• Configure brand profiles, compliance profiles, consent centre, subscription centres
• Build email/SMS/WhatsApp templates with personalization & rules
• Define KPI tracking, journey analytics, reporting requirements
• Conduct requirement workshops, UAT, training & documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years in Dynamics 365 Marketing / CIJ
• Strong understanding of CIJ RTM features: events, segments, branching journeys
• Hands‑on with journey orchestration, goals, suppression rules, exit conditions
• Experience configuring consent & compliance profiles with regional logic
• Strong template‑building skills: email, SMS, dynamic text, personalization
• Good analytical skills for interpreting journey insights & performance
• Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills
