Job summary

Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with Severe Learning Disabilities? Join our dynamic and innovative LD CAMHS team in Cheshire! We are dedicated to delivering high quality care through evidence-based behaviour and sleep interventions, empowering young people and their families to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Location: Cheshire (either Macclesfield or Crewe).

Responsibilities
  • Manage a defined caseload of 0–18 year olds with Severe Learning Disability and challenging behaviours.
  • Undertake choice assessments as part of the access to service process.
  • Conduct detailed clinical assessments, formulate and plan interventions, and negotiate plans with the client and their parents/carers where appropriate.
  • Perform risk assessments.
  • Evaluate outcomes of interventions using measurement tools, adjusting plans accordingly.
  • Assess, plan, treat, and evaluate behavioural intervention plans.
Additional Information

All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme. P2C offers up to 3 weeks of training to support you to meet the induction/initial training requirements of the role.

Planned shortlist date: 2nd January.
