The Role

As our Group IT Application Change and Delivery Lead, you will be the driving force behind the end-to-end lifecycle of application changes across the enterprise. You will ensure that all application changes are delivered efficiently, securely, and in line with business objectives—owning change management, delivery oversight, stakeholder engagement, and compliance. This is a pivotal role that bridges strategy and execution, optimising processes, risk, and stakeholder satisfaction in a high-impact environment. You will report to the Group Head of IT Applications and work closely with teams across Business Applications, IT Project Management, Security, Engineering, Support, and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the change management process for IT applications, including intake, prioritisation, scheduling, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with Business Application Owners, IT PMs, and third-party vendors to plan and execute changes aligned with business needs.
  • Lead the delivery of application enhancements, upgrades, and fixes across multiple platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Certinia, ODB).
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of changes.
  • Monitor delivery KPIs and report progress to senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails for all changes, ensuring traceability and compliance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for change-related communications across IT and business teams.
  • Deliver second-line support for applications and systems.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to align on requirements, timelines, and risks.
  • Ensure all changes adhere to internal IT governance frameworks and external regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the Security Administrator to enforce security policies and manage access controls.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline change processes and improve delivery efficiency.
  • Contribute to the strategic IT roadmap and innovation initiatives.
Job requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience in IT application change management and delivery leadership.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise applications (e.g., Salesforce, Certinia, ODB).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, and project management methodologies.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and support teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent changes and priorities.
  • Ideally, certifications in ITIL, PMP, or Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in a global or multi-site organisation.
