Rate: Up to £550 per day (Inside IR35)

Duration: Contract until 31/03/2026

The Role

We have an urgent requirement for a Cyber Engineer (Professional II) to join the UAS-1 Global Operations Team.

Working within a joint military and civil team, you will support the UAS Core delivery team and Global Ops. Your primary focus will be delivering Cyber Assurance and ensuring Secure by Design (SbD) principles are applied to critical Uncrewed Air Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cyber Assurance: Lead on Cyber Assurance activities for Uncrewed Air Systems.
  • Secure by Design (SbD): Implement and oversee Secure by Design principles across the project lifecycle.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Apply thorough knowledge of JSP440 (Leaflet 5C) and MAA Regulatory Article 5890 to ensure compliance.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
  • Secure by Design: Proven experience in Secure by Design (SbD) implementation.
  • Policy Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of JSP440 Leaflet 5C (SbD) and MAA - RA5890.
Desirable:
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience with SbD for UAV/UAS (Military or Civil).
  • Air Systems: Understanding of UAV air systems engineering.
  • Context: Experience working within a joint military and civil team environment.
