A leading water company in Cardiff is seeking a skilled cybersecurity professional to monitor and improve security systems, perform proactive threat hunting, and collaborate with IT and OT teams. The role requires experience in cybersecurity practices and an understanding of various technical frameworks. Monitoring, supporting and analysing the security tooling (such as the SIEM, XDR, Firewalls, security posture tooling etc.) for suspicious activity. The team is threat‑led and when there are no alarm/events to be investigated the team performs threat hunting, looking for previously undetected threats.
