Job summary

A dynamic retail company in Liverpool is seeking a highly organized Customs Controller to manage the customs process for shipments to and from the Republic of Ireland. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with customs and duty requirements while supporting process improvements. Ideal for those with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach. Role includes weekend work, typically one weekend every three weeks.

About the role.

We’relooking for a highly organised Customs Controller to manage the day-to-day customs process for shipments to and fromthe Republic of Ireland. You’llplay a key role in ensuring compliance with customs and duty requirements, while driving process improvements and supporting our global supply chain.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage import and export processes for shipments to and fromthe Republic of Ireland, including customs declarations.
  • Support HMRC and Irish Revenue audit requests.
  • Keep up to date with global trade developments and regulatory changes.
  • Maintainaccuratecustoms classification for all products.
  • Build strong relationships across our global supply chain.
  • Identifyand implement opportunities to improve customs processes.

Please note:This role includes weekend work—typically one weekend in every three weeks. When you workadditionalcover shifts,you’llreceive days off in lieu the following week.

About you.

2nd stage - A one-hour formal competency interview. This will be held in-person at our Speke, Liverpool office.
