Customer Team Member

Location: 39 - 53 Main Street Kilsyth, Glasgow, G65 0AH
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time
Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview

Role Overview

As a Customer Team Member, you'll be part of a friendly team that's dedicated to helping our customers. We'll look to you to provide them with great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re‑stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

What you’ll do
  • Friendly and thoughtful service – put customers first: respond to queries, champion Co‑op products and Membership, and deliver a great shopping experience.
  • Work together to make everyone’s day better – support store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
  • Make sure the store is safe and legal – keep shelves stocked, and ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are correct.
  • Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural and share experiences with colleagues so everyone learns together.
  • Support your local community – get involved in all kinds of activities and events.
