Overview

Consumer Relations Representative

Location: Marlborough, MA 01752

Pay Rate: $18/hour

Duration: 6+ months, with potential to extend or convert to permanent (many temps stay for years)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Start Date: October 13

What You’ll Do
  • Answer 40–60 inbound calls daily; average handle time ~8 minutes
  • Troubleshoot consumer products (including Bluetooth, app, and Wi-Fi connected devices)
  • Assist with warranty replacements, sales orders, and product specifications
  • Accurately log all consumer interactions into Oracle (transitioning to a new CRM)
  • Manage personally identifiable information responsibly
  • Escalate and follow up on cases as needed
  • Meet department KPIs (adherence, call quality, NPS, etc.)
  • Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and strong brand representation
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 1–2 years in a call center (or other phone-heavy role)
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with Bluetooth, app, or Wi-Fi connectivity devices
  • Solid computer skills – multitasking across multiple screens and systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and reliability
  • Ability to sit for extended periods in an office environment
Training & Work Setup
  • Training: 2–3 weeks (no time off approved during training)
  • Onsite Requirement: Fully onsite for 3–6 months before hybrid eligibility
  • Hybrid Eligibility: Based on meeting KPIs for 3+ consecutive months (includes adherence, call quality, reliability, engagement, and independence)
Screening Requirements
  • Typing test required
  • Reference checks will be conducted
  • Background check & drug screen (THC not disqualifying)
