Job summary

Booker is seeking a Duty Manager to lead a team of over 40 colleagues within our Business Centre, contributing to a fast-paced store management environment. You will play a pivotal role in delivering excellent customer service, supervising cash-handling, payroll processes and inter-department coordination.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator with some supervising experience.
• Practical experience in the retail trade.

Responsibilities

• Ensure team compliance with legal standards and procedures.
• Train team in cash handling to minimise losses.
• Manage debt and recover overdue payments where needed.
• Maintain payroll records accurately and timely.
• Engage with customers to resolve issues and improve service.
• Liaise with department Supervisors to monitor deliveries.
• Lead a team of associates across reception and checkout areas.
