Job description

Do you have a Transport/Logistics background? If so, we are looking for a positive, energetic Customer Service Advisor to join our client's already established team.

Apply today to work as a Customer Service Advisor in Trafford Park, Manchester.

The rate of pay is £30,000 per annum.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, and the hours of work are:

  • 8am to 5pm
Your Role at Work

As a Customer Service Advisor, your role will be to provide and promote a professional, customer-focused service to ensure customer needs are satisfied and a first-class service is delivered and promoted.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collate records of discussions or correspondence and track customer complaint resolution to ensure all queries, including complex and escalated issues, are managed effectively and customers are kept updated.
  2. Adhere to customer service standards, service level agreements, policies, and procedures across all customer service functions, dealing with queries promptly and appropriately.
  3. Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues to ensure a 'one team approach' to company performance standards and objectives.
  4. Follow all HR, GDPR, and Health & Safety policies to ensure compliance.
  5. Oversee booking of delivery times and follow up on timed deliveries, taking necessary actions to notify customers of potential service issues.
Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally, and handle customer queries effectively. Prior experience in transport, warehousing, customer service, and technical knowledge of CRM systems is preferred.
