Job description

Part‑time Customer Service Advisor – Salary: Up to £12.38/hour. Location: Main base – Discovery Park. Weekend shifts: Margate location (avoid lone working). Hours: 24 hours per week (4 days), flexible shift pattern.

We're looking for a proactive and customer‑focused Customer Service Advisor to join a busy leisure and wellness operation. This role will give you the chance to be part of a supportive team, working across multiple locations, and supporting members in a variety of facilities.

Your responsibilities will include driving and traveling between sites as required.

Duties
  • Be the first point of contact for customers, managing queries, bookings, and membership administration.
  • Answer calls and emails promptly.
  • Log, resolve, or elevate customer enquiries (tickets).
  • Update and maintain the internal customer booking system.
  • Support membership retention and cancellations.
  • Assist with promotions, sales, and member renewals.
  • Act as a systems champion, supporting colleagues with CRM usage, suggesting process improvements, and helping to make day‑to‑day operations more efficient.
Requirements
  • Previous customer service or sales experience.
  • Confidence using CRM systems (Gladstone experience preferred, but not essential).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify process improvements.
  • Flexible and able to work a shift pattern that includes evenings and weekends.
  • Shift pattern: three‑week rotation including early shifts, late shifts, and a weekend every third week.
  • Must be able to drive and travel between sites as required.
