Location: Poole, Dorset

Hours: Full-Time (Shifts between Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm + Saturday 9am - 12pm)

Salary: £26,000 per annum

Customer Service Administrator Role Overview

We are working with the world's largest independent insurance broker to find an enthusiastic and driven Customer Service Administrator to join their expert team.

This is a fantastic launchpad for a long-term career. We're not looking for previous insurance experience—we're looking for your sales drive and people skills. You will receive complete on-the-job training, structured coaching, and full support to gain highly respected, industry-recognised qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

This isn't a 'one-size-fits-all' call centre role. You will be responsible for building deep, trust-based relationships and providing tailor-made insurance solutions for a diverse range of private and commercial clients, while managing a key set of service tasks:

Client Management & Support
  • Handling around 40 inbound customer calls per day, providing clear and supportive assistance.
  • Assisting with insurance claims and policy queries.
  • Making necessary adjustments to policies and updating customer records.
  • Taking payments and issuing insurance documents.
Relationship Builder
  • You'll spend time talking to people, listening carefully, and building genuine rapport to truly understand their unique requirements.
Problem Solver
  • Every client is unique, and you'll use your sharp problem‑solving skills to craft bespoke solutions, moving away from standardised, templated sales.
Administrative & Collections Support
  • Checking for payment defaults and contacting customers to arrange payment.
  • Supporting the specialist taxi insurance team with admin and customer service tasks.
About You

We are looking for individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset and the desire to succeed. You might currently be in a retail, hospitality, or sales role and are ready to transition your excellent people skills into a professional career.

You must be:

  • Ambitious - Every single person in a leadership position within this team started as an Customer Service Administrator. If you have the desire to succeed, we will provide the tools to get you there.
  • Relationship‑Focused - You enjoy conversations and value getting to know your clients.
  • Passionate - A genuine interest in the products you sell, whether it’s high‑value items or specialist vehicles, is key to building quick rapport and trust.
  • Career‑Driven - You see this as a long‑term career path, not just a temporary job.
Here’s some of the benefits our client provides

You will be joining a highly successful, people‑first culture where your contribution is recognised and valued.

  • Holidays: 22 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service.
  • Career Support: Full support for industry qualifications, on‑site training, workshops, and coaching.
