About the Role

The Customer Onboarding Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring our customers’ success from day one. You’ll lead and support implementations across the EMEA region, translating customer requirements into configured, production-ready solutions while guiding clients through deployment, testing, and handoff.

This role blends technical configuration, project collaboration, and customer partnership. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, internal teams, and hotel stakeholders to deliver high-quality implementations—often independently on complex accounts.

Hotel operations experience is highly valued, as it provides real-world context when supporting hospitality customers.

What You’ll Do
System Configuration & Deployment
  • Configure Actabl platforms based on customer requirements and project scope
  • Load, validate, and transform customer data accurately
  • Build custom reports and dashboards to support operational insights
  • Perform data mapping and integrations across systems
  • Join customer calls alongside Project Managers to provide technical expertise
  • Translate business needs into executable technical tasks
  • Communicate progress, risks, and blockers proactively
  • Escalate issues with clarity and recommended solutions
Documentation & Quality
  • Document configurations, workflows, and customer-specific customizations
  • Maintain detailed implementation records for future support and scalability
  • Participate in internal reviews to ensure quality standards are met
Testing & Troubleshooting
  • Support business process testing (BPT) and UAT preparation
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve configuration or data issues
  • Research root causes and validate solutions with internal experts
Delivery & Execution
  • Manage and prioritize multiple implementation tasks simultaneously
  • Track timelines and proactively mitigate delivery risks
  • Ensure implementations are completed on time and to a high standard
What We’re Looking For
Required
  • Fluency in English and French
  • 2+ years hotel operations experience or 3+ years SaaS customer success/sales experience in hospitality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
  • Experience working with customer data (Excel, BI tools, analytics platforms)
Preferred
  • Experience with Actabl products (ALICE, Transcendent, Hotel Effectiveness, ProfitSword)
  • SaaS configuration and implementation experience
  • Customer onboarding and software training experience
  • Familiarity with data protection standards (e.g., GDPR)
  • Technical troubleshooting (technical & non-technical)
  • Business process analysis

  • Fully remote
  • 85–90% travel across Europe for customer onboarding and training
  • Ideally based in Europe with access to major airports or rail hubs

Compensation
  • £39,000–£44,000 GBP or €46,000–€48,000 EUR (or equivalent), based on experience
  • Bonus eligibility and merit increases based on performance
