A popular fast food restaurant in England is seeking a Customer Care Assistant to welcome guests and create a friendly environment. Your responsibilities include delivering high standards of service and cleanliness, supporting overall wellbeing with available resources, and adhering to safety procedures. This role offers flexibility in shifts and various employee benefits. Suitable candidates should have strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
As a Customer Care Assistant, you will be the friendly face who welcomes our customers to our restaurant. Working predominantly in the dining area, you will be responsible for exceeding hospitality expectations, by making it special for all of our guests. You will consistently deliver the highest standards of quality, service and cleanliness in the restaurant. You will need to complete tasks and activities in line with training, company guidelines and management direction and follow all workplace safety, security and food hygiene procedures. Supporting your overall wellbeing with counselling, mental health support, life management, medical guidance, and helpful resources.
The interview is an absolutely vital part of our hiring process. It involves questions around values and attitudes and allows the interviewee to show why they are the right person for the job. We look for people who have the right attitudes and behaviours to deliver a great customer and colleague experience; we hire for qualities and potential, rather than qualifications.
Our employees tend to stick around. Partly because it is a fun, sociable and flexible place to work, but also because there are opportunities to progress into roles with more responsibility. In fact, 9 out of 10 of our restaurant managers, and 1 in 5 of our franchisees, started out as crew members behind the counter or in the kitchens.
We have been recognised as a leading employer, offering award‑winning learning, nationally recognised qualifications, comprehensive benefits and flexible working arrangements, as well as a well‑proven career path.
Our restaurant hours range from location to location, but over half of our restaurants are open 24 hours a day. We schedule most shifts to suit you, but also take working time legislation and our business needs into account. If you work overnights, between midnight and 5am, you will earn extra pay.
We provide a uniform, so you don’t have to worry about what to wear to work.
We are working hard to take the necessary steps towards a more sustainable business and future. In 2021 we launched our first net‑zero restaurant.
Before we can employ you, we are required to verify your eligibility to work in the UK & Ireland. Acceptable documents to evidence your right to work can be found here. You'll need to provide original documents such as a valid passport or a valid UK/Ireland visa (with a college letter listing term dates, where applicable). Only original documents will be accepted.
