We're seeking passionate individuals who take pride in their knowledge of the latest food and drink trends and are eager to share it with our customers. You'll be a brand ambassador ready to recommend and promote our café menu. Through remarkable service you'll make sure our customers feel valued every time they shop with us.
Responsibilities
- Be digitally confident and use our digital tools, such as digital menus and in-store devices, to enhance the customer experience and help customers find the products they want.
- Ensure efficiency and high standards in food safety and hygiene; be ready to roll your sleeves up and go above and beyond every day.
- Be a team player; create a great inclusive café environment, supporting and respecting colleagues and customers.
- Be flexible and able to work across various areas of the store, adapting to changing demands of the retail environment.
- Deliver a great shopping experience for customers, putting them before task; champion new ways of working with a positive attitude; complete tasks and processes to deliver 'best in town' standards; serve and sell across channels; be the voice of the customer to help us improve.
- Provide excellent customer service on the shop floor and at service points; maintain presentation standards, availability, cleanliness; share customer and colleague feedback; support others with skill development; own learning and development via digital learning solutions.
- Know daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities; have strong product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services; proactively engage with customers to understand needs and make recommendations; understand store priorities and my part to play; complete tasks with pace following SOPs; minimise cost and waste through good process practice; follow safe and legal working practices.
