Curriculum Administrator

Chichester College Group has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Curriculum Administrator at our Brinsbury College campus. You will join us on part‑time, permanent basis. In return, we will offer a competitive salary of pro rata of £25,582 to £25,683 per annum (i.e. £21,252.74 – £21,336.65).

The Curriculum Administrator role: This is an administrative role with a difference! Working at Brinsbury College means working in a unique location, surrounded by 540 acres of stunning countryside with our very own farm, woodlands, orchard and more! You don’t often get that in your standard administrative role!

As our Curriculum Administrator, you will play a vital role in our curriculum teams at Brinsbury, providing comprehensive administrative support to our unique curriculum areas to ensure it operates effectively for our students and other customers. You will also contribute to the organisation of area events such as open days, parents evenings and the hugely popular Brinsbury Show.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with internal departments in respect of all student related data to enable the curriculum area team to meet the requirements of the College.
  • Providing administrative support to the curriculum area team to ensure that the area operates effectively, including maintaining accurate records and effective and efficient filing systems.
  • Assisting in the on‑going development of systems, processes and procedures to ensure the effective operation of the area.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by effectively handling enquiries in all formats, from students, employers, colleagues, parents and external organisations.
  • Inputting data to College systems, assist with the online and paper‑based tracking of students and maintain the associated paperwork.
  • Co‑ordinating the input and management of student qualifications and/or functional skills, enrolments, registrations and claims.
  • Assisting the curriculum area team when scheduling hours for academic staff and input information to the Payroll system.
  • Contributing to the organisation of area events, such as parents evenings and open evenings, including appointment making, corresponding with parents and external visitors and organisation of facilities such as rooms, equipment and refreshments.

Our ideal Curriculum Administrator should have the following skills and experience:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above
  • Experience working within an administrative role
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • The ability to work alone and as part of a team with interpersonal skills
