Job description

We are seeking a strategic and values-driven Culture & Inclusion Lead to provide leadership and direction across all aspects of equality, diversity, inclusion, and organisational culture. This senior role will shape and deliver the Force’s Culture and Inclusion strategy, ensuring that fairness, respect, and inclusion are embedded in everything we do. Working within the Deputy Chief Constable’s portfolio, you will provide professional advice and oversight to support a positive workplace culture and inclusive service delivery.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing our equality objectives, annual equality report, and the wider framework required to meet the Equality Duty. You will also guide the integration of equality and inclusion across policies, projects, and business planning. The role includes leading engagement with protected and seldom-heard groups, strengthening our consultation and communication with communities, and ensuring that diverse perspectives inform decision-making. Acting as Head of Profession for equality and inclusion, you will advise senior leaders, influence strategic direction, and represent the organisation at national and regional forums.

Starting salary will be negotiable and dependent on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and demonstrating high calibre of talent and potential to significantly improve service delivery.
