A family-owned food company is seeking a Culinary Manager to drive culinary innovation and build strong customer relationships. The role requires a Chef with at least 5 years of experience in food manufacturing and culinary recipe development. You will create applications using a diverse product portfolio, collaborate with customers on innovative concepts, and present new ideas both online and in-person. The product expert for our ingredients (bakery, dairy-alts, pizza bases amongst others), this role sits within the Commercial Team, with a close link to R&D, and works collaboratively with our customers building meal and menu items. Main responsibilities will include supporting development of customer briefs, ‘go to market’ plans for new product platforms, joint menu creation with customer chefs and enhancing relationships with focus accounts to enable long term key partnerships.
Critical: Experience as a Chef or Development chef, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a food manufacturing or Foodservice environment, Culinary recipe development, Presenting and influencing customers
Desirable: Bakery or related experience, Degree educated or equivalent in a food discipline, Product launch process management experience, Social media skills including presenting on live streams
