Main duties of the job

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff. You will report into the Unit Manager for the service but also have support from a Clinical lead.

As a Radiographer at Alliance Medical you will be responsible for adhering to protocol and procedures to produce high quality images and an exceptional standard of patient and customer care. Our focus is on teamwork and working together to provide the best service for all in an environment that encourages learning, development and support.

Job responsibilities
  • Perform a wide variety of CT examinations with a patient-focused and flexible attitude.
  • Build excellent rapport with patients and customers (internal and external) and maintain high standards of care and service.
  • Be able to work flexibly within the team and independently when required.
  • Demonstrate good organisational and time management skills.
  • Communicate effectively and negotiate with colleagues and patients.
  • Be innovative, forward-thinking, and able to troubleshoot and solve problems.
  • Show strong attention to detail and IT literacy.
  • Work under pressure both independently and as part of a team.

Previous cannulation experience would be an advantage. IV cannulation skills are essential for this role (training will be provided where required). Evidence of clinical competency is expected.
