A healthcare trust in southwest London is seeking a Lead Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day organisation of CT imaging staff and resources. This role involves providing leadership to CT superintendents and radiographers, ensuring high standards of clinical care in CT services. The ideal candidate will have clinical expertise in CT imaging and strong management skills. This fixed term position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance leadership capabilities while maintaining a clinical practice in cross-sectional imaging.
The Lead Superintendent will assume day‑to‑day organisation of staff and resources in CT imaging across the trust and support the site modality CT superintendents in developing and managing the growing demand for CT imaging.
They will provide leadership and direct line management to the site modality CT Superintendent, radiographers and advanced practitioners and support the Head of Radiology Service in planning the strategic development of CT imaging across the trust. The lead superintendent will work closely with all stakeholders to meet the demands of CT service across all Trust sites.
Fixed Term – 12 months. The role offers an excellent opportunity for a radiographer with clinical expertise in CT imaging to develop managerial and leadership skills whilst maintaining a clinical practice in cross‑sectional imaging.
